01

// OVERVIEW

hopalt (“Developer,” “we,” or “us”) provides Bit 2048 Hard (“App”). This Privacy Policy describes how data is handled when you use the App.

The App does not require an email address, password, social login, or real-name account. It does create a pseudonymous leaderboard record using a randomly generated installation ID.

03

// LEADERBOARD DATA

When the App initializes its leaderboard features, it stores the following in Firebase Firestore:

  • Installation ID: a random UUID generated by the App and stored locally. It is not a hardware serial number or advertising ID.
  • Nickname: generated automatically or entered by you. A custom nickname can currently be set once.
  • Country code: detected from your device region, or through an IP-based lookup if the region is unavailable.
  • Game record: best score, best phase, nickname status, and last update time.
  • Country totals: aggregated player count, best score, and top phase by country.
PUBLIC DATA: Your nickname, country code, best score, and best phase may be displayed to other players on the App and website leaderboards. Your installation ID is not displayed.
04

// COUNTRY DETECTION

The App first uses the country/region in your device locale. If no country code is available, it may request a country code from ipapi.co. That request necessarily exposes your IP address and standard network request information to ipapi.co.

05

// FIREBASE AND ADVERTISING

Google Firebase Firestore stores and synchronizes leaderboard records. Google may process technical information necessary to provide, secure, and maintain the service.

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) displays ads. Depending on your platform, region, consent choices, and Google settings, Google may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device and app information, approximate location, diagnostics, and ad interaction data.

06

// LOCAL STORAGE AND RETENTION

The App uses local storage to keep the installation ID, game progress, scores and statistics, current phase, and settings. Local app data is generally removed when you clear the App’s storage or uninstall it, subject to your operating system and backup settings.

Leaderboard records are retained while the service operates or until you delete your data, unless longer retention is required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement. Non-identifying country-level aggregates may remain after an individual record is deleted.

07

// YOUR CHOICES AND DATA DELETION

  • Access: view your nickname, country, best score, best phase, and shortened installation ID in the App’s Settings or record screens.
  • Deletion: open [ SETTINGS ] → DATA & PRIVACY → [ DELETE MY DATA ] and confirm.
  • Ad choices: use your device privacy controls and Google Ad Settings to manage advertising personalization where available.
  • Contact: email us if the in-app deletion function is unavailable.
DELETION EFFECT: The App deletes the current Firestore user record and clears its local preferences. Because leaderboard initialization is part of normal App operation, continuing or reopening the App may create a new random installation ID and a fresh leaderboard record.
08

// CHILDREN, SECURITY, AND INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING

The App is not directed to children under 13, or under 14 in the Republic of Korea, and we do not knowingly request their personal information. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us so we can review and delete it.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to this service, but no network transmission or storage system is completely secure. Firebase, Google Mobile Ads, and ipapi.co may process data on servers outside your country under their own policies and legal safeguards.

09

// POLICY UPDATES AND CONTACT

We may update this policy when the App, third-party services, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when changes are published.
